Made of 200-weight, midweight fleece, with 255 grams of high quality, polyester fleece in every square meter, these jackets are warm without being bulky. Napped and sheared on the outside to prevent pilling, the inside nap is left intact to provide extra warmth and comfort. An auto-lock zipper goes all the way to the end of the collar, leaving just enough space to prevent chin-chafing. The end result is a jacket that will keep your child thoroughly protected from chill temperatures, but is light enough to layer under heavier outerwear.

We use half-inch safety stitch seams for construction throughout, bind all raw edges--including those of our dyed-to-match zipper tapes--and add top-stitching on shoulders, sleeves, pockets, and collars for extra durability and to prevent fraying or raveling. Waists and cuffs stay snug with covered 3/4" preshrunk elastic, while our deep, brushed tricot-lined pockets will keep hands toasty warm. And they may not care, but you will: these jackets continue to look great even after repeated trips through the washer and dryer. Extra bonus: no wrinkles, Mom!--even after being stuffed into lockers or backpacks!
